About Contextual Reachcast

A Contextual Reachcast allows you to exclusively book all opportunities associated with a given context(s), for a short amount of time, in a given country. Once a context is booked for your advertiser, no one else can buy it.

Create a Contextual Reachcast Campaign

Follow these steps to create a Contextual Reachcast Campaign in Teads Ad Manager.

  1. In the TAM homepage go to New Campaign

  2. Select Contextual Reachcast

  3. Add your general campaign settings:

  • Campaign Name

  • Advertiser

  • Country of Delivery

  • Timezone

  • Creative Category (Display OR Video)

    • Accepted creatives should be landscape or square formats only.

    • You cannot run Video and Display in the same Contextual Reachcast booking, these would require separate bookings.

  • Advanced Options (Brand Safety/ Brand Suitability settings, Age restrictions 18+ or 21+, website list)

Caution:
It is not recommended to apply site list targeting for a Contextual Reachcast. Please note that if you apply a site list, it might have an impact on your pricing

If the settings are too restrictive, you are unable to proceed to the next step, as the campaign will not be scalable to deliver a reach cast

Please ensure all settings in this step are correct before you confirm your booking as you are unable to change them once booked

4. Check the schedule - apply your context/s and check the calendar for availability

  • Teads has over 30 contexts available for Contextual Reachcast bookings (full list can be found above)

  • Minimum duration is 1 day and maximum duration is 7 days

  • If the date appears greyed out, it indicates that a booking has already been made. Check the schedule for an alternative date.

  • You are able to book up to 3 months ahead of the launch date.

5. Once the context/s and date/s are selected; view the forecast, based on all settings applied in the right hand panel.

  • This panel shows the guaranteed impressions, budget and CPM, alongside a summary of the campaign settings applied

6. Add Creative

  • If the creative is not yet available on your side, you can add this at a later stage prior to campaign launch.

7. Review all of the booking details. Make sure to double check all settings, as you will only be able to add creatives once booked.

8. Confirm Booking.

  • Once your campaign is booked, you have successfully secured this date for your reach cast and no other users can book the same date/ context combination.

  • Your campaign will remain in Pending status until you push to “Go Live” for validation

9. Select ‘Go Live’ when your campaign is ready for launch, including your creative set up.

  • This will not activate the campaign, but push it to a Teads representative for validation before launching.

  • Ensure that the campaign is submitted at least 48 hours before the campaign is due to launch.
