In some cases, an advertiser with an existing Teads Universal Pixel on their website, might want to delegate the management of their advertising campaigns to a third party like an agency.
Since the Teads Pixel is already set up, an advertiser can share the pixel and events to other Teads Ad Manager accounts, allowing them to use the pixel and events in their campaigns from other seats.
To share your pixel, follow the steps outlined below:
Go to the Event Manager tab within the 'destination' seat to locate the Partner Seat ID associated with that seat.
Next, navigate to the Event Manager tab in the Pixel 'owner' seat, find the pixel you want to share, and then click on the Actions button. From the dropdown menu, click on Sharing.
Here, you can enter the Seat ID of the account (Partner Seat ID retrieved from step 1) with whom you want to share your pixel with, and choose the level of access this account will have:
Read-Only mode: The account to whom the pixel is shared has access to the pixel and the conversions set up by the owner. It can be used in their campaigns but they cannot make any changes on the conversions.
Full Access grants pixel management rights: Accounts with access to the shared pixel can set up events. They will have the same level of access as the owner.
You will have visibility into the accounts with whom you have shared your pixel and the corresponding level of access granted to each account. If you decide that you no longer wish to share your pixel with a particular account, you can revoke the sharing by clicking the cross icon located to the left of the account's name.
Note: A pixel can be shared from an advertiser to an agency or between agencies.
Sharing pixels between different advertisers is not allowed.
