Fee definition:

The platform or management fee is calculated as a predefined percentage of the advertising spend

Fee = Fee% * Total Ad Cost

The budget spent is now defined as the sum of the advertising spend and the platform fee:

Budget spent = Total Ad Cost + Fee

For example: suppose that the platform fee is set to 7% for your TAM seat:

  • If you want to spend $100 in advertising (i.e. media cost only), then the total budget should be $107, split as follows:

  • If you want to spend a $100 budget in total, it will be split as follows:

Budget spent = Total Ad Cost + (Total Ad Cost * Fee%)

Teads Ad Manager Name

Definition

Budget spent

Total Budget spent (i.e. invoiced by Teads). Includes Ad Manager fee. Does not include Added Value budget nor Agency fee.

Budget delivered

Total Budget spent, (including added value budget & agency fee)

Total Ad Cost

Budget spent on advertising cost. Does not include Added Value Budget, nor Ad Manager fee, nor Agency fee.

Fee

Budget spent on Ad Manager fee.


Max bid price interpretation:

The max bid price that a TAM customer inputs in the platform should be interpreted as the maximum “advertising spend” that this customer is willing to pay per billable event.

For example, if the max bid CPM is $10 for a given TAM insertion, then:

  • Advertising spend / impressions * 1000 must be <= $10

  • Budget spent / impressions * 1000 can be > $10

Average price of a thousand impressions (display) or starts (video), based on the budget_delivered_advertising. This is the CPM value considering only the advertising cost.

Average price of a click, based on the budget_delivered_teads. This is the CPC value delivered by Teads, including advertising cost and Ad Manager fee.
