CAROUSEL

Notes:

  • For languages using larger double-byte characters, such as Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese or Korean, the recommended character counts are half the values above.

  • Creatives are fully editable, even if the campaign is live. You can edit logos, images, headlines, ctas, tracking urls. Updating a creative won't change creative status nor pause delivery, similar to the other types of creatives in TAM.

    • Updating a live creative won't pause delivery. However, the creative may be deactivated if the changes do not comply with our ad policies.

    • Creative content updates are applied to the campaign as soon as you save the creative. A live creative will continue delivering with the latest changes, before updating the whole campaign and even if you cancel campaign changes. Creative Editor will warn you when editing creatives on active campaigns, to prevent accidental changes.

    • Avoid making significant changes to live creatives.

  • As part of the regular approval process, Teads Customer Experience Managers get email notifications whenever the users set up new campaigns or creatives. The campaign and/or creatives can start to deliver only after being enabled by the Teads Customer Experience Managers.

  • Be sure that there are no spaces after the click-through URL otherwise an error message will appear stating "Field is not valid".

Available Social Post layouts

For Traffic Acquisition campaigns, Social Post Image and Social Post Video are available for use.

You can choose between two social layouts:

Both layouts feature the brand name and logo, a single image or video and an optional ad message. Additionally, for Layout 1 you can add an optional footer with website link, headline and call-to-action, while for Layout 2 you can add a simple call-to-action button.

Layout 1 emphasizes the ad message by showing the primary ad text above the image, whereas Layout 2 is more visual, showing first the image and having the ad text below it.

Add a VAST Tag from Teads Studio

In TAM Traffic Acquisition campaigns, you can activate VAST/VPAID tags for Creative Editor video or viewable display formats. The creative tags can be set up using a generic VAST tag option, which automatically detects the format & size. This is useful in cases when such creatives are initially built by Teads Studio and you don't need to make any edits to the creative.

Note: Other types of VAST/VPAID tags are not supported.

  1. In campaign editor, click the Creatives button on the bottom left side to open Creative Library.

  2. Click the New Creative button.

  3. Choose the VAST Tag option.

  4. Name the creative.

  5. Optionally, you can enter an external integration code if you want to integrate with another reporting system.

  6. Paste the VAST tag URL.

  7. The creative format & size are determined automatically for Creative Editor formats and cannot be changed. Other types of VAST/VPAID tags are not supported.

  8. You can quickly check how the ad looks like using the Preview button from the ad preview.

  9. Optionally, you can set flight dates for your creatives.

  10. Optionally, you can add 3rd party tracking. For more details, refer to Third party tracking options.

  11. Click the Save button.

Notes:

  • When you start from line item and add a new creative to assign, you can only add either a Video or Display VAST tag based on your line item creative category selection.

  • Once you save a creative, you can no longer change the format category (e.g. change format from video to display, or viceversa).

  • If you ever need to edit a creative to change the VAST tag URL, make sure it is from the same category (video or display) as the original.
