Go to Teads Ad Manager

Leverage your online and offline data to reach and re-engage with your customers online. Using information that your customers have shared with you can:

  1. Reconnect with your customers through Positive Targeting: retarget current customers or users that are familiarized with your brand.

  2. Negative Targeting: suppress an audience to deliver a different messaging. Usually used for Consideration funnel.

Teads supports 1st party data onboarding through select Data Management Platforms:

  • Salesforce

  • Neustar

  • Oracle

  • Nielsen

  • Liveramp

Depending on the DMP, the data on-boarding process can take 5 to 14 business days.

  • We do not support custom integration through DMPs we are not directly integrated with.

  • We are only able to onboard cookie data and unable to onboard CRM data (such as email, name...). To initiate this process, clients should first reach out to industry players providing this service (Liveramp for instance) before sending their segments over to Teads.

  • We put safeguards in place to make sure that our advertisers’ 1st party data, when on-boarded in our platform, is siloed per advertiser. Plus, a manual step guarantees which advertisers segments a TAM seat is authorized to use on self-serve.

  • There are specific targeting rules we can't handle (e.g. we do not support custom segments using 1st party and 3rd party data). Reach out to your Enterprise Solution point of contact in order to check feasibility.

On-boarding process is different according to the DMP you are using.

To initiate this process, please reach out to your Enterprise Solution point of contact to coordinate the on-boarding in our platform.

1. Planning a campaign

At this stage, 1st party segments are available to your seat through the DATA MANAGEMENT tab of Teads Ad Manager, section First Party Audiences.

You can consult the list of segments on-boarded and the reach associated.

2. Setting up a targeting rule

To add 1st party segments to your targeting rule

  • Edit campaign

  • Select Targeting / 1st party audiences

  • Chose Include or Exclude

  • Search for the 1st party segment

Logical operator AND applies between different selectors, for example between a Teads Audience inserted and a First Party Audience.

At this point, the number of bid requests updates. The targeting rule is ready!
