WELCOME TO THE EVENTS MANAGER TAB

Our Universal Pixel is the cornerstone of our performance offering, allowing us to track what happens after a click and optimize to reach your objectives.

The Events Manager feature allows you to create your own Teads Universal Pixel, and create conversions. The Events Manager will also give you overall statistics on your pixel and your created conversions.

The Events Manager is split into two menus:

  • Teads Universal Pixel in which you will be able to create your pixel, and get overall statistics on its activity

  • Conversions in which you will be able to create custom conversions you want to track in your campaign. This menu will also provide conversion statistics.

Teads Universal Pixel Creation

Overview

Teads Universal Pixel is a snippet of JavaScript code that allows you to track visitor activity on your website. It works by loading a small library of functions that you can use whenever a site visitor takes an action that you want to track.

Thanks to the Teads Universal Pixel, you will be able to create Traffic Acquisition campaigns optimized for visits and measure the effectiveness of your campaign on other actions by simply creating and attaching custom conversions to your campaign.

Requirements

In order to implement the pixel, you will need to:

  • Create a Teads Universal Pixel

  • Have access to your website's codebase (or Tag Manager)

Pixel creation and setup

Please refer to the steps to create your Teads Pixel highlighted in Pixel Creation section.

Best Practice: create your Teads Pixel before setting up the campaign.

If there is no pixel created, you can only run a CPM, uCPC or CPC campaign. Optimizing towards qualified visits is not possible without a pixel.

There are a couple of ways to install the pixel:

Conversion Creation

Please refer to the steps to create conversions highlighted in Pixel Creation section.

Once all your pixels and conversions are set, do not hesitate to download our Teads Pixel Helper to make sure your pixels are firing properly.
